Location | Torre delle Stelle

Is found in the south-east of Sardinia, about 20 km from Cagliari and 15 from Villasimius, a pleasant village set in hill and valley overlooking the sea and surrounded by woods. Tranquillity, relaxation and amusement are on offer. There are in all about 1.200 villas of which only a very small number are rented out. The area has 2 beaches with the whitest of sand, the sea is cristall blue and the area has the longest summer in the whole island. In fact the climate is very agreeable all year round.

These beaches are ideal for children because the water gets deeper very gradually.
Besides having general food stores Torre delle Stelle has restaurants, a pizzeria, a caffè/bar, tennis courts, football pitch, a diving school , a nautical club and other water sports facilities.

How to get to Sardinia

The airports of Cagliari, Olbia, Alghero and Tortoli (on a seasonal basis) are connected daily  and directly to the national and european airports.
The main sardinian sea ports are Olbia, Cagliari, Golfo Aranci, Porto Torres and Arbatax.   They can be reached from the following italian ports: Civitavecchia, Livorno, Genova, Napoli, Piombino .By train the various airports are connected to the maritime ports. There are also coaches but they do not cover all the routes, this is true also for  Sardinia and we advise car rental as the  best way to visit the island .
There is no true motorway in Sardinia but the nearest to it is the SS131 or the Carlo Felice , its old name which cuts the island in half, north to south from Cagliari, to Oristano,Nuoro, Sassari and Olbia. The SS130 goes from Cagliari to the south. The other roads are municipal and  provincial, the roads generally are good , though narrow at this level.
